Slow Breathing for Diving/ Scuba



This CD teaches you to reduce your breathing rate which will intern reduce your air consumption to help increase your depth of time.

To be used for Scuba, Snorkeling, and deeper Diving.

The CD reduces breathing from the standard 12 breaths per minute to 3 breaths per minute in 2, thirty minute stages.

A dive at 35 feet in warm, water expects air to last about an hour. As I am sure you are aware, longer dives going deeper with much stronger currents and colder water can drastically reduce this time. New divers, a little panicky and prone to hyperventilating rather than breathing slowly and for some have got through a tank in twenty minutes.


Search on google for “slow breathing diving” there are numerous articles on the benefits which any experience diver would already know about.

On average we normally breathe around 12 breaths per minute. Take a moment to find out how many breaths you take in a minute.

A breathing exercise that can be used by anyone.

Listen to the bells on the first track
(click here to listen) This is at 5 breaths per minute. The bells will ring to tell you when to breathe in and then out. This is a reduced quality recording.

Once you have trained yourself up or if you are ready try the second track
(click here to listen) at 3 breaths per minute.
