Jewel Cases

When I first stated buying Jewel Cases I thought they were all pretty much the same quality, after 2 years and thousands of jewel cases later I now know the truth.

When you need to insert a batch of CD inserts and covers into jewel cases, you need a jewel case that isn’t going to snap. You want to be able to open it in second just with your hands (cheaper jewel cases need nails or a small screwdriver)

So how do you identify a good quality jewel case?

Simple, the cheap jewel cases weigh 60 grams and when you open them unless you do it correctly you have a high chance of snapping the case.

Cheap jewel cases also have problems when being posted that they are more likely to crack.

If you look on the Internet you will find higher quality jewel cases, they are easy to identify as they weigh 68 grams not 60grams. So before you buy, email the company and ask them the weight of the cases, they might cost a little more but they are worth it. I can open these cases with my hands in a second, wonderful.
