Should I get integrated appliances for my Kitchen?
I am sure you have been told how smart your kitchen will look with integrated appliances rather than standard free standing white goods, however there are a few things you should considered. Some of the integrated appliances might be a bit smaller , not good if you have a big family, make sure to look at the dimensions. The secound point is that you pay a lot more for the decent equipment.Read some of the reviews and you will that you have to buy the top quality integrated units for good results e.g. AEG, this doesn't seem to be as true for the cheaper free standing appliances. We decided to keep our white goods, they look fine and if they need to be fixed or replaced dead simple.I don't know about America but in the UK when you get a new kitchen make sure the space they leave for the dishwasher, or fridge/freezer or washing machine or dryer is 60cm.
When our first kitchen was installed, because our old washing machine was 59cm they didn't leave space to fit more than a new 59cm washing machine in, we did find a new machine to fit this space but it wasn't easy.
