BT Voyager 2110 ADSL Modem Router

My old ADSL wireless modem router died. I didn't think my old Origo would break, but it did, one day all was fine the next it couldn't make Internet Connection.

I was going to go for a Netgear, the reviews for them have been pretty great, however I was short of time, emails waiting to be dealt with for my work. Linksys seems to have had varied reviews, however the BT Voyager (the older version) seemed to be pretty decent, so I bought one.

It has 4 Ethernet output which is the way you program the box plus build in modem that deals with the new faster speeds and wireless router.

It took about 5 minutes to set up, simply plug in, enter my username and password and I was on the internet. The wireless side of things took a bit longer but navigating the menu wasn't too hard as I had previous experience of what to look for.

The BT voyager 2110 did try and hide the advanced functions which makes sense. The only problem I had with the router was that I kept on losing wireless connection on Channel 6, I changed the wireless channel to 1 and everything has been fine since. Obviously something was blocking it on channel 6 but this was the same channel as my previous wireless modem router and it worked fine.

The actual box looks quite flashy, with nice green lights flashing on and off, it does get quite warm, however I have had it on constantly for the last few weeks and it seems to be doing fine, I like it.
