Cahoot is part of Abbey National PLC, their current account offers a very completive interest rate not the highest but close.I opened up a current account with them around 2 years ago, and have only positive things to say.Most email queries are answered in a day and the few times I have had to phone they have been very good in sorting things out. The interface on the website itself is very easy to use, adding standing orders, viewing direct debits is very simple.You do have to pay a fee if you wish a physical bank statement and I think bank statements online are only held for 12 months so you do need to print them off occasionally and there is a special option to do that. I ordered a physical bank statement recently and managed to get one withing 3 working days, not bad at all.I use the account a lot and have never had any problems logging in.Paying in cheques is done via the post office or through the post with freepost envelopes they give you.
They even offer a service for purchasing off the web to make it even more secure. If you are looking for a current account that offers a good rate of Internet I would recommend them
