When our baby was weaned onto the bottle I purchased the Dr Brown Natural Flow Bottles.They are specially design to reduce colic in babies. I must say they were effective, our baby did not suffer much from this condition.The bottles have more bits than an ordinary bottle. There’s a temperature gauge that fits inside the bottle and changes colour when the milk is too hot and a special seal that reduces air becoming trapped in the milk. You can choose several different teat flows to suit your baby, as he/she becomes a faster drinker. The bottles are a little more expensive than other brands, but they cost far less than the Haberman bottles, the other bottle recommended to reduce colic.
There is of course a downside, and that was the cleaning. The extra parts meant cleaning became a chore, as you have to get into the holes and nooks with a small brush (the bottles come with small cleaning brush).We cleaned them in the dishwasher, but this faded the temperature indicator and made it useless to use, but the old fashioned tipping a small amount of milk on wrist meant we knew if the bottle was too hot.All in all though a highly recommended product.
