I current use Pageplus 8 and Pageplus 9 but will soon be upgrading to version 11. Pageplus is a Desktop Publisher and it is so simple and versatile to use.It allows you to produce leaflets, booklets, and can also deal with double sided things.It can produce cards, PDF's which I have given to printers.It allows you to design small websites, however I would suggest Serif Web Plus if you are a bit more serious.It has a large range of feature but it also so simple to use, so even if your knowledge of computing isn't vast you will be desktop publishing to your hearts content. From pictures, to shapes, to effects it has them all.You should be able to get versions of Pageplus 8 PDF version for tiny sums of money. I have found Pageplus version 8 (after patches installed) to be a very stable product, in fact in the 1000 of hours of use it has never crashed on me.Inserting and resizing pictures is a breeze.The largest projects I have used it for was to produce a PDF leaflet and 50 designed CD jewel case inserts.
It is also great for producing personalised Birthday Cards, so if you after a very simple easy to use but feature rich desktop publisher, Serif's Pageplus is your answer.
