Before you purchase software for your offset labels you need a CD applicator. If you have not looked into this area please click CD label applicator here. There is a lot of free and shareware software for offset CD labels and they vary in quality, indeed I did use express IT 5.1 for a while, which comes free when you purchase certain brands of a CD label applicators, however I found the quality of the print out, and the speed and user friendly factor very poor in this product.I produce 25 CD labels a day so I needed to find the best software available, and in my opinion that is the cd label applicator program that you might already have on your computer, namely Nero.Yes this is the same Nero for copying and backing up CD’s and DVD'sIt has a wonderful, the best program to do offset labels, which is feature rich as you will ever need it to be with the added bonus that it is very friendly. Only certain editions/versions have the label applicator software so please check before you buy. In addition it allows nearly a wide variety of CD labels, including my favourite that of offset labels.
If you don’t have a copy, Nero isn’t expensive and with all the other benefits it brings it really is a must for your desktop. If you have no budget then look at the freeware software available, some of which I am sure is very good.
