Royal Mail Epro and PPI

I have been using the Royal Mails Epro and PPI system for quite a while now.

I don't know all the complexities but basically if you send over a certain number of parcels a year through the royal mail you can apply for PPI, this gives you a reduction in the postage and those nice little black and white stickers to place on your parcels rather than stamps.

I use this in conjunction with their Epro computer system.

Basically I count and weigh the sacks of mail using an ULTRA SHIP ULTRA-50 (small, accurate, nice electronic weighing scales) log onto their EPRO system, tell them the number of packets and weights, and if they are UK, Europe of Worldwide, print out a report, and off they go to the sorting office.

Most people get their mail collected, others like myself go to the sorting office.

The Epro system is very easy to use however once you hit the submit button, for a docket the only way to cancel or alter is to phone them, rather frustrating, but then I made the mistake not them.
