We have laminated floors and were getting very tired using a normal mop to clean the floors.The steam mop is filled up with water (I use mineral water) plugged in and in a few moments pressurised steam comes out underneath onto the floor, you use it like a normal mop and a machine washable pad picks up the dirt.The results after the first clean were wonderful. It was very simple to use, and sped up the cleaning process.The Steam Mop is wonderful it cleans dirt faster than a conventional mop with the added advantage that the floors are nearly dry in seconds..I ordered some additional washable pads as washing the same one over and again would have becomes a chore
So if you are looking for a steam mop this is the one to get, oh and with an adaptor supplied it can be used to sterilise on carpets as well however I have never tested this out.
