I record over 200 CDs a week and I was finding time after time that you do actually get what you pay for. Put simply is you are recording audio, you must buy Taiyo Yuden.™The quality of the sound is the best. It can be accepted by nearly all CD players and they say they last 100 years, although I can’t test this. It is also used by a lot of sound engineers who know what they are talking about and is even accepted by many as a master. If you look at the number of errors on a CD (all CDs have tiny errors that CD players deal with) it is the best I have ever seen. Now your concern will be, higher quality, costs more, and this was mine. Fortunately you can buy Taiyo Yuden silver on the top, green on the bottom CD-R’s for around 20 pence / 40 cents and they are really worth every extra penny.
If you want the best CD-R available I recommend Taiyo Yuden.
